About Me
My name is Paula Lynn Vargas, and I have been a graphic designer for more than twenty years. I spent the first seven years of my career working as a Multimedia Technician for an online college in Westminster, Colorado. Along with a large team of Instructional Designers and Course Developers, I contributed to developing online learning courses for higher education.
I then moved to Burlington, Washington and began working as a Multimedia Developer for Legend Brands. There I designed, developed and published online learning modules, and as part of a talented marketing team, I collaborated with the Director of Marketing Communication, Senior Graphic Designer, Senior Web Developer/Webmaster, and Tradeshow Coordinator to create and distribute marketing media for businesses in the cleaning and restoration industry. In addition, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse group of business professionals, including engineers, chemists, subject-matter experts, educators, and many others.
I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs—Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign—and have experience working in Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. I use my years of experience and technical skills serve business as a freelance graphic designer and business owner of Actualize Graphics.
